Blissdale Montessori was created and established in 2014,

founded by Mr. Jimmy Peng and Ms. Jacy Lee.

They both earned Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certified

Montessori diploma for Birth to 6 years of age from U.S.A.

 

        Mr. Jimmy holds a degree in Special Education and worked as an elementary teacher in Taiwan. He soon realized that education must start earlier than 6 years old, also through the influence from his parents who currently managing Montessori preschools in Taipei, he decided to study and concentrate in service of young children from birth to six years old. He had a year of experience as head guide in a Montessori preschool in U.S.A. before he relocated to Malaysia.

 

         Ms. Jacy studied and worked in Canada for many years, she holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology and took part in Neuroscience research studies before she headed back to Malaysia. In 2011, she worked as a preschool teacher and discovered Montessori method, since then she fell in love with it and decided to follow the Montessori approach in her future education career pathway. She earned her Master degree in Education from U.S.A. in 2018 and wishes to continue her research in early childhood education in order to further contribute her knowledge in assisting young children in Malaysia.
