Curriculum & Activities
The Kindy Program contains several carefully prepared areas:
The exercises of Practical Life resemble the simple work of life in the home: sweeping, washing, sewing, cooking etc. Practical life activities foster children’s adaptation to the real world. These purposeful activities help the children learn essential life skills while strengthening their ability to focus, eye-hand coordination, develop sense of responsibility, and contribute to their community.

Practical Life Skills
Sensorial Enrichment
Sensorial activities are designed to help children refine and organize their senses. Each scientifically crafted materials isolates one sense at a time (e.g. touch, visual, hearing, etc.) so the child can focus deeply. By comparing, classifying, and grading sensory impressions (e.g., size, color, shape, texture, sound, weight), children build the foundations for thinking, reasoning, and learning abstract concepts. Throught sensorial exploration, children sharpen their perception of the world and prepare their minds for mathematics, science, and language learning in the future.

Language Development
In the Montessori environment, language learning is a vibrant, multisensory journey that nurtures listening, spoken communication, written expression, and reading skills.
English
In our classroom, English is one of the two main languages. Children learn to read through a structured phonics system, starting with sounds and moving on to word building. They are supported by leveled readers and a variety of self-learning materials, while daily immersion helps them develop both speaking and reading skills naturally.
Chinese
Chinese is one of our main classroom languages. With guidance from Montessori experts in China, children move step by step from simple strokes to sentences through fun, hands-on activities. Daily immersion helps them speak, read, and write naturally while discovering the beauty of Mandarin and its culture.
Bahasa Melayu
As Malaysia's national language, BM is taught through a structured, child-centered approach. We begin with "fonik" (phonics) to build sound-letter connections, then introduce "suku kata" (syllables) for rhythmic fluency. Fun and engaging materials empower children to read, write, and embrace the language's cultural richness.

Nature & Science
In Montessori, the study of language naturally extends into wider explorations of the world. Beyond reading and writing, children are introduced to subjects such as nature, biology, geography, history, astronomy, and early science. These extensions enrich the child’s vocabulary and understanding, showing them how language is deeply connected to knowledge and discovery. Through hands-on materials and guided activities, children learn about the living world, the land and water that shape our planet, and the stories of people and cultures. They build not only knowledge, but also a sense of wonder, respect, and responsibility toward the environment and humanity.

Physical Development
At our preschool, physical development is a joyful and essential part of early learning. Children enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities supported by our high-quality playground set, safe gym tools, and thoughtfully designed indoor movement materials. Through early sports, movement games, and group play, children also develop valuable skills in balance, coordination, and teamwork. More than just exercise, these activities inspire cooperation, resilience, and the joy of staying active, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of healthy living.

Mathematics
Learning math in preschool is not just about learning to calculate. It also builds logical thinking and problem-solving skills. The goal of introducing math early is to help children develop a deep understanding of numbers and patterns through experience, not rote memorization. It trains the mind to think logically and critically. It helps children see math as concrete, meaningful, and enjoyable. It prepares them to move from hands-on concrete exploration to abstract thinking with confidence.

Art, Music & Cultural
🎶 Music
In Montessori, music is an important part of the curriculum. Children are introduced to rhythm and melody through bells, percussion instruments, and joyful music circle time. These experiences nurture listening skills, coordination, and a love of musical expression.
🎨 Art
Art provides children with opportunities to express themselves creatively. They explore different mediums such as chalk, color pencils, watercolors, and playdough. Through these hands-on activities, children develop fine motor skills, imagination, and confidence in their own ideas.
🌏 Culture Studies
Cultural studies help children connect with the wider world. At our school, we celebrate special days such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Malaysia Day, and Teacher’s Day. We also introduce children to festivals from different ethnic groups, nurturing respect and appreciation for diversity. (e.g. Hari Raya, Lunar New Year, Deepavali, Christmas, etc.)
We celebrate through storytelling, songs, baking and tasting traditional foods, and creative art and craft activities. These experiences give children joyful connections to many traditions while instilling the values of community, respect, and harmony.

Family Field Trip &
Graduation Life Camp
Every year, our preschool hosts an Annual Family Bonding Field Trip, where students of all ages are invited to join together with their families in exploring the beauty of nature. Each year we choose a special destination such as a forest, river, or waterfall, where families can enjoy hiking, swimming, outdoor games, survival training, and nature-based activities. Sharing a picnic lunch in the great outdoors makes this event a joyful day of connection, discovery, and lasting memories. For our graduating six-year-olds, we organize a special 2-day, 1-night Life Camp at school. Children experience the excitement of staying overnight with their friends and teachers, enjoying activities such as a half-day picnic at the park, sourcing ingredients, and preparing their own meals. The camp concludes with a heartfelt mini graduation ceremony at our school, where parents are invited to celebrate, witness their child’s achievements, and take part in the presentation of graduation certificates.
